James B. Green
Retired President & CEO
Kemps/Marigold Foods, Inc.

The key differentiator for our company/business is ________ and creates a powerful competitive advantage.  Fill in the blank with innovation, quality products, superior service or our people?  All characteristics of successful companies but what if I told you the core ingredient was missing…CULTURE.

Jim Green was President and CEO of Kemps LLC, a dairy and ice cream company located in St. Paul, MN.  During his tenure, Jim developed a values-based culture that created a resilient company in a tough economy, building on the human desire to contribute to something bigger than yourself.  These core values strengthened relationships with customers and established deeper levels of trust throughout the company.  Jim says “companies that stand up best are the ones with values-based cultures.”

Jim graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and received his Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.  Jim is an adjunct instructor in the MBA program at Bethel University, where he also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Please join us to hear Jim’s story and his keys to creating a values-based culture.
