Julie White '76
An experienced and successful executive committed to helping leaders and organizations, White has more than 35 years of experience consulting with executives on personal and organizational effectiveness, building leadership competency and potential, and aligning people strategies with organizational strategies.
Currently, White is the president and founder of the consulting company, Tapestry Solutions, LLC. The firm is focused on providing consulting and expertise to organizations in the areas of strategy, leadership development, organizational culture and people practices. White has worked with clients in the for-profit, non-profit, and academic sectors.
Additionally, White is a partner in Strategic Product Partners, a product development group. She is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics with examples including strategy, change, leadership development, and work with purpose.
In 2010, White retired from Wells Fargo after 24 years of service. At Wells Fargo, she held executive leadership positions in Human Resources and Communications in Minnesota, Iowa and California.
White served as the Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources of Wells Fargo from 2007-10. She was a member of the company's Operating and Management Committees. Her responsibilities included the development and implementation of people strategies to support the business objectives of Wells Fargo, as well as the management of compensation and benefits, human resource service centers, systems and payroll, HR finance, team member relations and assistance, team member communication, talent management, learning and development and diversity for 281,000 Wells Fargo team members.
She received a B.A. in English literature and political science from Bethel College and has completed graduate course work in Educational Psychology at the University of Minnesota.
White currently sits on the Board of Trustees of Bethel University, the Board of Directors of Presbyterian Homes and Services, the Data Dimensions Advisory Board and the Iowa Health Care Collaborative Board of Directors.
