After attaining an MBA from Bethel University she accepted the Chief Executive Officer position at Questar. Jamie Post Candee is the President and CEO of Questar Assessment Inc., a K–12 assessment provider single-mindedly focused on building a bridge between learning and accountability. Jamie is the driving force behind Questar’s commitment to creating meaningful assessments that give educators the insights they need to fully prepare students for college or career.
Jamie combines a passion for the K–12 education industry with a remarkable rate of professional advancement through a variety of roles within product management, marketing, sales and service, human resources, and technical consulting. She has worked in K–12 education for over 10 years and is deeply committed to improving an education system that is in need of better, more effective assessments that ultimately aid in classroom instruction.
In her most recent position before coming to Questar, Jamie served as the Chief of Revenue for Edmentum (previously PLATO Learning Inc.). Holding positions of increasing responsibility in the K–12 education industry while pursuing and attaining an MBA positioned her to take on her first Chief Executive Officer position at Questar Assessment Inc. In February 2015, Jamie was selected by Minnesota Business magazine as one of their 2015 (Real) Power 50. This annual list recognizes 50 “remarkable players in the Minnesota business community” for exceptional leadership in their industries and communities. Additionally, Jamie serves on the board of directors for Women of Nations, a Minnesota-based nonprofit committed to ensuring that all women and children live free of domestic violence, with an emphasis on providing culturally specific assistance to Native American women and their families.
